The Delta State Polytechnic (DSPG), Ogwashi-Uku, has begun offering admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) for 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates with National Diploma (ND) can further their education in full-time courses across Business, Science, Accounting, Management, Arts, ICT, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, and more.
The school has opened portal for applicants to enroll for the diploma degree, and the portal will be opened till 31st of October 2025. So, if you meet the entry conditions such as completed National Diploma (ND), now’s your chance to step up. The fun part is that even if you completed your ND in another polytechnic, you can still enroll into HND at DSPG.

Requirements for HND Application
This answers who can apply or what are the qualifications to enroll into HND programme at Delta State Polytechnic. Here are the requirements and certificates needed to enroll into HND programme at DSPG:
- Your National Diploma (ND) programme must have been entered through Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
- You must possess five (5) credits, across no more than two sittings, in one of these certificates: WAEC, GCE O'Level, NECO, or NABTEB. Note: English and Mathematics are compulsory.
- Lastly, you must also possess an ND certificate with a minimum of Lower Credit from a program accredited by the NBTE, along with one year of relevant industrial training in your field, or an ND certificate with a Pass Grade combined with two years of professional industry experience.
Once you meet this entry requirements, your admission into HND programme at Delta State Polytechnic is sure. Note, applications close on 31 October 2025. So, if you're willing to pursue HND programme at DSPG, then you need to act fast.
How to Apply
Follow these steps to apply for HND programme at Delta State Polytechnic:
- Visit the school portal at https://mydspg.edu.ng/, and click on Admission.
- Select HND as your programme option, and the programme's form will be visible to you. You can also go directly to the Form page.
- Fill in your details accurately and submit to get an Application ID.
- A non-refundable screening fee of N16,000 will required. You can pay online using a Verve or Mastercard (ATM) from your bank or from mobile money app like OPAY.
Once the payment is approved, then your application is completed. Your application will be reviewed and once approved, you will be among the shortlisted candidates who will take a Computer-Based Test (CBT). You’ll also need to show your certificates and proof of registration. Note that if you provide any inaccurate information on your application will result in immediate disqualification.
