The Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the 2025 UTME's Mop-up Results for 11,161 candidates who did the computer-based test (CBT). According to JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, 96,838 candidates were scheduled to sit for the exam but only 11,161 candidates did.
So, if you're one of the candidates that did the CBT, you can actually use these methods explained below to check your results without hassle. I have also created a detailed guide in another comprehensive article that'll guide you through all the processes of checking your JAMB results.
How to Check JAMB Mop-up Results
There are two (2) ways to check your 2025 UTME Mop-Up results: checking online via portal, and checking offline using SMS code. Meanwhile, the online checking method can also be done in two different ways: checking through printing out results slip which cost N1,500, and checking through UTME results checker which cost 0 fee but usually unavailable when JAMB first release results.
To check your Mop-up Results via online portal, visit the JAMB e-Facility portal at efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEResults and enter your registration number to check your results. Alternatively, you can check your Mop-up Results online simply by downloading JAMB Results Slip—but cost N1,500.
The SMS method of checking JAMB Results is the most effective way candidates use the most. To check via SMS, simply send either “UTMERESULT” or “RESULT” to 55019 or 66019. Shortly after you sent the message, you’ll receive a text message with your result status.
What Is Next?
After checking your results, what's next? You've know your fate, so you can decide on the next steps to take. If your JAMB's score meet your institution requirements, then you can proceed to apply for Post-UTME and be preparing for the next exam. However, if your score went South, you can do some research to know some Universities that can still accept you or look for related courses that fit in to your scores you can change to.
