The University of Ilesa (UNILESA) has begun accepting applicants' applications into 2025/2026 Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme. The UNILESA JUPEB programme is a one-year route to 200-level university admission.
If you're seeking a pathway to enter university directly in your second year, this might be your opportunity. Generally, JUPEB offers a full-time, two-semester programme designed to prepare students for direct entry into the second year at Nigerian universities.
Classes, lectures, and practicals are conducted at the UNILESA campus in Ilesa, Osun State. The admission portal for the 2025/2026 JUPEB session is opened and applicants are required to go-to the school portal to submit their applications. Application deadline is scheduled to Sunday, 31 August 2025, so act fast to gather all your documents and submit your application.
Application Requirements
Interested applicants should provide:
- Relevant SSCE Results with at least 5 credit including Mathematics and English in no more than two settings.
- Awaiting Results (ARs) are accepted but uploading of results to both JAMB and school portal would be required once the results are released.
- No JAMB score is required to join the JUPEB programme.
- Jupeb Portal Access Fee for 2024/2025 academic session cost ₦ 5,000.00. You'll be required to pay this amount.
- Lastly, a one-time application fee would be required. The application fee cost N20,000, making N25,000 in total.
How to Apply
The UNILESA JUBEP application processes are simple. You can carry out all the procedures online on the official school portal. Follow the steps below to successfully submit your application:
1. Use verify school portal
Visit the UNILESA's online portal at admissions.unilesa.edu.ng/home, and click on start registration as it's shown in the image above.
2. Make Payment
On the next page, you can choose to Continue Registration or Start Registration.
If you choose to Continue Registration, you'll be required to submit all your credentials and make payments later. But if you choose Start Registration, you'll be required to make payments and after successful payment, you will be assigned an Applicant ID which can be used to access the portal anytime.
The Differences?
If you choose to Start Registration, you will be able to make payments and get applicant ID. Even if the application portal closes, you can still access the portal and complete your registration. But without payment, you'll not be able to access the portal once the application deadline reaches.
